Hi my wonderful family!
As we are in the beginning stages of planning our Kornowicz Family 2010 reunion I would like to ask all to suggest what they would like for the dates of our event. I am proposing July 10, 2010 for the reunion. Friday night we would like to have an adult only get together at a local bar or other great venue. Saturday will be the actual entire family reunion, and Sunday we would like to all go to church as a family and possibly do a brunch. Let me know what you think!
Thanks
Vicki

Vicki, Thanks for putting the Reunion Idea out for all to see. It will be such a fun time to have the entire Kornowicz family together.Or at least those that choose to participate. I am sure it will make Grandma & Dzia smile down from Heaven.
ReplyDeleteSounds GREAT to me...although Im not sure how I would do in Catholic church now. I am a super evangelical Christian. I guess as long as Jesus is there!!!
ReplyDeleteThe friday night deal sounds great as there are many cool places that we can go. Maybe on Saturday we can rent a shelter at a park in the area, perhaps Como Park or Chestnut Ridge or there the Old Fort Niagara State Park that my family goes to quite often and the kids love it because there is a pool that they go to while we are there. Just a few suggestions.
ReplyDeleteThanks guys for all the graet comments! I am actually doing some great research on where to have the saturday event. I was trying to find a place thats close, but not too common and I happened to stumble upon Akron Falls Park. Dan and I are going to check it out(along with a couple other parks) next weekend since it will hopefully be nice outside and see how it is. Akron falls has some really great hiking trails and a group of waterfalls that are breathtaking! That's one of the same reasons we like Chestnut ridge because on the property there are the eternal flame falls, but you do have to drive a little ways to get there and hike down a ravine. So, I'm going to do some more searching and find just the right place-i've also already found out what I have to do for reservations and such and it's a pretty simple process. Each park has shelters for around $100 so its rather inexpensive also! Thanks again for all of the great comments! I really appreciate the feedback!
